Meet the speaker: Gustavo A. Ballen

Gustavo A. Ballen is a Colombian evolutionary biologist. He earned a BSc. in Biology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and a PhD. in Systematics, Animal Taxonomy, and Biodiversity from Universidade de São Paulo. His postdoctoral experience includes a position at the dos Reis group in Queen Mary University of London, and now a FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship at the Oliveira group in the Universidade Estadual Paulista, Botucatu.
